I have tried everything to do with the gtasa.setexe files, but to no avail.
Cannot Find 800X600X32 Video Mode Drivers By TheI have updated all the drivers by the way, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and please dont be rude, all I need is help.Create a shortcut for gtasa.exe.Right-click on it Properties Shortcut. In the target field, give a space after the path and type this: -width800 -height600. However please keep the discussion centred around getting GTA SA running on a netbook LEGITIMATELY. They cited Steam as the place to get them from (in which case the issue moderated on above wouldnt apply). This is the only option besides getting the Steam version, which doesnt make sense, since it is twice the price of the retail version(20 Steam10 for retail). I suggest trying the 640X480 one and the game should run fine. Plus with the External DVDCD drive, it WILL run better, I have got the game working great on my moms netbook-an HP with Intel Atom processor(1.6GHZ), 1GB RAM, Intel GMA, XP Home SP3, with the External DVDCD drive and using the SA disc(V2). The optical drive is the exact same one I linked you to above, btw. If you own a game you might not have problem installing a patch. I just bought some stuff for my gaming rig n had issues with resolution not being 1280x720 but as I installed patch game started to run better along with added resolution options. Borrow someones(friends-family-work) USB-DVD Drive try testing with patch installed. So, that might not be an option if you have a V2 copy(which the chances are high since that is all that is sold now a days.). Just click Add button located in the bottom right corner and add it.
